Apex Footwear Limited is looking for Deputy Manager/ Manager, Product Development (Unit-1) 2022.
Key Accountabilities:
Development:
- Ensure smooth development of Last, Mold, Materials
- Take necessary steps to solve any problem on qualitative issues
- Analyze and Fix all critical operation and process parameters such as Crimping, Stampa, Embossing, Counter molding, fusing of reinforcement material, etc. from the development stage.
- Proto spec sheet preparation and validation
Commercialization:
- Risk analysis: Product, Process and materials
- Last and Mold approval.
- Bulk material trial approval
- Pilot trial initiation
- Bulk spec sheet validation
Production:
- New Process Initiation by coordinating with the production team and Com- Team.
- Critical article trail initiation by coordination with assigned Com-Team member and Production team.
- Pre-production sample inspection for respective brands.
- Coordinate among different departments e.g. Sewing, Cutting, Lasting.

Eligibilities
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the Footwear industry with 5 years of working experience in Product Development.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Knowledge about the footwear design and contemporary fashion trend
- Understanding different tools of Product Development and footwear manufacturing process.
