Sustainable & Renewable Energy Development Authority (Power Division, Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, Government of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh) is pleased to announce a paid internship program.

This, paid internship, an initiative aimed to encourage the country’s future generation regarding renewable energy and sustainable development.

The government established the Sustainable and Renewable Energy Development Authority to support the Renewable Energy Policy through the Sustainable and Renewable Energy Development Authority Act in 2012. Bangladesh also joined the International Energy Agency after the agency was founded.

Sustainable and Renewable Energy Development Authority facilitate and disseminate sustainable energy (SE), i.e. covering both the areas of Renewable Energy (RE) and Energy Efficiency(EE) to ensure the energy security of the country. The necessity of an authoritative organization in the renewable energy sector to maintain coordination among them was being felt. So, an institution like SREDA was inevitable.

The institution is now working under Power Division of the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources (MPEMR) of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh as a coordination body for the development of the renewable energy in the country.

Remuneration: 10 thousand taka per month.

Eligibilities

  • Final year or recent graduate student of renewable energy or energy-related any field;
  • Applicants must be an efficient computer user;
  • Get prioritise if have any experience regarding energy-based software.
