Janata Wifi is looking for IoT Research Engineer Intern 2023 in Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
- Researching & Configuring Embedded Operating Systems based on Linux.
- Researching software & hardware features to find high potential APIs.
- Write IoT and Networking focused CRUD applications in Bash, Python and other languages.
- Deploy app using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Help set up a IoT Stream Analytics System.
- Making on site visits to supervise setup and debugging of wireless network equipment.
At Janata Wifi we are constantly in the process of reinventing traditional internet access system to make it more affordable for the bottom of the pyramid population. We are looking for Network Research Engineers to help us build next generation communication infrastructure with Fifth Generation wireless technology and beyond. We are looking for People who are seriously motivated by the problem that we are trying to solve, and also really interested with all the new technology in the wireless telecommunication space. Your formal background is of very little importance to us.

Eligibilities
- Any Current Engineering student or recent grad with the below mentioned skills are encouraged to apply.
- Should have a self-reliant problem-solving mindset to solve hard problems with web research & little guidance by supervisor in a startup environment. Should have the mindset to self-learn new technologies (e.g., new programming language, new telecom technology paradigms).
- Most of the work will involve configuring Linux environments and setting up network research labs. Interest in Linux and software defined networking (SDN) is highly valued.
- Experience with any programming language (PHP, Python, Java or others).
- Experience with wireless network equipment & network technology (Radio Frequency, Routing, Cisco, Juniper, Mikrotik, Ubiquity, OpenWRT, AAA Server, IPv6) is a plus but not required.
– Interest in Machine Learning (ML) is highly appreciated. You will be working with ML Engineers to set up a Big Data Pipeline.
– People with interest and expertise in electronics and hardware programming are usually great match.
