BYLC is looking for Research, Monitoring, and Evaluation Intern 2021 in Dhaka.

The prime responsibility of the Intern, Research, Monitoring, and Evaluation is to contribute to conducting evaluation of BYLC programs and assist the RME team in providing research and knowledge support for improving BYLC programs.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist to construct evaluation tools (e.g.: survey forms)
  • Assist in data entry, phone call surveys, follow-up phone calls/emails for evaluation, and survey form preparation in online platforms
  • Assist to conduct pre, mid, and post-evaluations of all programs on an ongoing basis
  • Assist to collect, clean, sort, categorize and organize data
  • Assist to analyze and present quantitative and qualitative data for programmatic improvements
  • Assist in volunteer management and coordination

Eligibilities

Education:

  • Bachelor’s in economics/social science/development studies/statistics/or any research-related field
  • Final year undergraduate students and students enrolled in a Master’s program

Required technical skills:

  • Good oral and written communication skill in both English and Bengali
  • Qualitative and quantitative research knowledge
  • Must be proficient in MS Excel (SUM, AVERAGE, COUNT, COUNTIF, VLOOKUP, CONCATENATE, etc.)
  • Commendable data analysis, visualization, and interpretation skills
  • Outstanding report writing and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS/STATA) would be an advantage
  • Previous experience of working as an enumerator and of documenting FGDs and KIIs
