Inter University Science and Technology Festival 2020 in Sylhet

SUST Science Arena is going to organize the SSA Inter University Science and Technology Festival in Sylhet.

Event Details:
1. Quiz Competition
2. Olympiad
3. Poster Presentation
4. 3 Minutes Thesis
5. Chess Competition

1.1 Quiz Competition (Team):
Each institution can send as many teams as they like. Each team must consist of 3 individuals from the same institution.
The competition will be held in two rounds –
a. Preliminary Written Test
b. Final Round
The top six scoring teams in the Preliminary Written Test will move on to the Final Round ( Stage Round )

1.2 Quiz Competition (Solo):
The competition will be held in two rounds –
a. Preliminary Written Test
b. Final Round
The top six in the Preliminary Written Test will move on to the Final Round. ( Stage Round )

2. Olympiads:
a. Undergraduate Physics Olympiad
b. Undergraduate Mathematics Olympiad
c. Undergraduate Life Sciences Olympiad
d. Undergraduate Chemistry Olympiad

Each team consist of 3 members.
The members should be from the same institution as a team.

3. Poster Presentation:
a. Agriculture and Mineral Science
b. Applied Sciences and Technology
c. Life Sciences
d. Management and Business Administration
e. Physical Sciences
f. Social Sciences

1st Stage: Abstract Submission (Abstract Submission should not be more than 300 words).
2nd Stage: Selected Abstract will be selected for Poster Presentation.

4. 3MT Competition (3 Minutes Thesis):
● A single static PowerPoint slide is permitted;
● No slide transitions, animations or ‘movement’ of any description are permitted;
● Your slide is to be presented from the beginning of your oration; and
● No additional electronic media (e.g. sound and video files) are permitted.

5. Chess Competition:
Format: Rapid Chess
Each Round will be 10 minutes long.
