Events:
1. Project Display • Students from Class 6 to Class 8 / Grade 6 to Grade 8 will be in junior group. • Students of Class 9 & Class 10 / Grade 9 to O levels will be in senior group. • Students of Class 11 & Class 12 / Grade 11 & A levels will be in college group. • Project’s Sub Category: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, IT. • A team of maximum 3 members are bound to be present in the venue with their projects. • Team comprising from different institution is not allowed.
2. Wall Magazine Display • Students from Class 6 to Class 8 / Grade 6 to Grade 8 will be in junior group. • Students of Class 9 & Class 10 / Grade 9 to A levels will be in senior group. • Students of Class 11 & Class 12 / Grade 11 & A levels will be in college group. • Science based theme has to be focused on a wall magazine mainly. • A group of maximum 3 members are allowed to display a wall magazine. => SCRAPBOOK DISPLAY • The subject of Scrap Books will have to be science based. • Scrap Books will not be taken after the first day of event. • Participants have to inscribe their research analysis and make divisions of the topic and attach relevant pictures in their scrap book. => COLLECTIBLE EXHIBITION AND COMPETITION: Collectible competition is an exciting event to showcase your collectibles. This is a great platform for the participants to exhibit their collections in front of the crowd. Collections can be anything like coin, stamps, currency, hot wheels etc. This is a three day long showcasing event. The winner will be awarded as The Best Collector. This competition is open for all students from Class 9 to 12. • This is a solo event but, participants can bring one person with them if they have any legitimate reason. • Winner will be declared based on their collection’s amount, rarity and knowledge about their collections.
3. General Knowledge Competition Type: 1. Team Based (Individual Group). 2. Solo (Mixture of Groups). • Each institution can send a maximum number of 5 teams consisting of 3 members in Team based category for each group (School & College). • Questions will be formed on Science & Technology, Bangladesh & SAARC, Sports, Geography, History, Culture, Recent Topics, Music etc.
4. Rubik’s Cube Solving • Participants must bring their own Rubik’s Cube. If anyone does not have a Rubik’s cube at the time of the competition, he/she will not be allowed to participate in the competition. • The competition is of 3x3x3 Rubik’s Cube. • Customization of the cube is strictly prohibited
5. Olympiads • Students from Class 6 to Class 8 / Grade 6 to Grade 8 will be in junior group. • Students of Class 9 & Class 10 / Grade 9 to O levels will be in senior group. • Students of Class 11 & Class 12 / Grade 11 & A levels will be in college group. • Junior Group can participate in Mathematics & General Science Olympiad. • Senior & College group can participate in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, IT, Astronomy Olympiad. • Calculator is not applicable in the Math Olympiad.
6. Robotic Exhibition • This event is only for the Senior and College group.
7. Photography Categories: 1. DSLR or Digital Camera. i. All photos must be at least 3000 pixels on the larger side. (Width). ii. All sorts of SLRs (DSLR, Semi-SLR etc.) and digital camera photos are included in this category. 2. Mobile Phone. i. All submissions must be at least 1800 pixels on the larger side. (Width). ii. No SLR or digital camera photos will be allowed. If exposed, the submission will be immediately eliminated and a notice will be sent to his/her institution. Theme: Open
8. Extempore Speech – The competition will be held in both Bengali & English language. – Subject, of course, will be science based. – Participants will pick their subject through a raffle 3 minutes before their speech. – The competition will be held in a single round. – A given topic cannot be changed. – The time limit for each speaker will be limited to 3 minutes. – Participants are requested to strictly follow the schedule time.
9. Web Page Designing a) Maximum 2 participants are allowed for each web page design. b) The page must embed a scientific theme. c) All necessary electronic equipment (Laptop, Flash Drive etc.) must be brought by the participants. The authority will not provide these equipment. d) Participants have to submit their designs before 28th August according to schedule. Email address will be updated soon.
10. Presentation on Scientific Contents a) The presentations should be on science-based topics. (Participants should give priority to recent topics). b) Participants will get a maximum of 5 minutes to describe their presentation. c) The presentation should not exceed the limit of 8 slides. d) All necessary electronic equipment (Laptop, Multi-plugs, Flash Drive etc.) are to be brought by the participants. The authority will not provide these equipment.
11. Sudoku -Time schedule will probably be flexible and change with prior notice. -Decision or judgment made by official committee is finalized.
12. Gaming •PUBG •FIFA •NFS [Details will be submitted soon]
13. Mega Quiz – Each team must consist minimum 3 member and maximum 5 member. – Each team have to pay 200 taka to participate in the event. – Prize money will given only to the winner and runner up team
14. IQ Test • Senior and College group can participate in this event. There will be a spot registration booth.
