Environment Based Competition Green Genius 2019 at IUB

Green Planet Club (which mission is to promote awareness of and care for the environment and to experience nature intimately.) at IUB (Independent University Bangladesh) is going to organize a talent hunt event – Green Genius, Season 2. The event aims to generate innovative ideas, for a better environment, from students (School, College and University) for the community.

First Step: Students will submit their ideas, individually, to solve or manage a particular environmental problem.
Second Step: Shortlisted students will be invited to the next stage for presenting their ideas in a symposium at IUB.

Categories of Participants:
Category 1: School/O Level Students
Category 2: College/A Level Students
Category 3: University Students (Undergraduate Level)

Steps in the Competition:

Round 1: Write an idea (individually) in 400 words (approx.) with an aim to solve or manage a particular environmental issue or problem that falls under any one of the themes mentioned below.

Round 2: Shortlisted students will be notified to present their ideas (individually) in a symposium at IUB in the format of either poster or model presentation.

Symposium (School & College Category): Sunday 10th March 2019, Time: 9.30 AM – 4.30 PM

Symposium (University Category): Monday 11th March 2019, Time: 9.30 AM- 4.30 PM

Venue of the Symposium: IUB Multipurpose Hall

Grand Finale: Tuesday, 12th March 2019, Time: 11.30 AM
Venue: IUB Auditorium
