Notre Dame Science Club is going to supervise the “41st National Science and Technology Week and Science Olympiads 2020” powered by the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

a) Junior (for class 6-10)

N.B. Each project group can consist of a maximum of 2 members.
● Olympiads:
Subjects:
a) Math Olympiad
b) Physics Olympiad
c) Chemistry Olympiad
d) Biology Olympiad
e) ICT Olympiad
Divisions:
a) Junior (for class 6-10)
b) Senior (for class 11-12)
N.B. Only one question paper will be set including an equal number of questions from all the five subjects. Participants must answer all the questions.
Rules and Regulations:
1. There will be a pre-selection round before the final event. Only the selected teams will be qualified for the final round.
 2. For pre-selection, everyone should send the video of their project within 04 November 2020 to [email protected]. Everyone should save their file name as “Senior/Junior-Physical/Biological/IT-name of the project participant’s name-Institution name-Class-Roll”. Then they should send their google drive link to displaying projects through email which should be open (No restriction). The size of the project video should be within 200 MB and the length should be 5 minutes or less. Furthermore, everyone should attach a pdf file narrating the summary of their project. This file should be saved as “Senior/Junior-Physical/Biological/IT-name of the project participant’s name-Institution name-Class-Roll”.
3. Selected teams for project display should be present in NDC premises within 9 am on November 09, 2020.
4. For Olympiad, only 3 participants can participate in a single institution. This selection will be done by respective institutions.
5. Each participant must wear their respective school/college uniform while participating in the fair and must keep their student ID with them. Side by side, they should wear masks for ensuring health safety.
6. Projects have to be set up following the instructions of the authority of Notre Dame Science Club.
7. The participants must bring the accessories related to their project (glue, multi-plug, tape, etc.) The college authorities will not provide any kind of logistics support.
Notre Dame Science Club, also known as NDSC, the most promising, versatile and distinguished co-curricular activities club of Notre Dame College, began its inception in 1955, to promote the zeal of science among the students. It is the pioneer of Science Clubs in the Sub-Continent.

Eligibilities

1. Each participant must register through their respective institutions.
2. Since this is a regional fair, only the institutions included in Dhaka South City Corporation are allowed.
3. Each project team may consist of 2 participants at maximum.
