3rd National Adventure Festival 2019
Notre Dame Outward Bound Adventure Club is going to organize ‘3rd NATIONAL ADVENTURE FESTIVAL 2019’. OBAC is continuing its legacy as it turned 52 this year is the 3rd oldest club in Notre Dame College’s history & the first adventure related club in Bangladesh.
It brings you the first outdoor adventure festival in school and college history and a carnival where you can satisfy your adventurous spirit. Promising you a festival that will echo within your mind for years to come, OBAC invites you all to bring some heat to the serenity of the campus of their college. With that purpose in mind, they offer to treat you to enthralling events that will quench the thirst of your free soul.
Description of the Events:
1. Treasure Hunt:
Race against the other teams to find directions to treasure from cryptic clues.
2. Pinpoint On Map:
Show how much you know about your country. Find out about the travelling spots around Bangladesh and test your skill about them.
3. Maze Runner:
Solve your way through to find the end of the Tunnel.
4. Wall Magazine:
Showoff your uniqueness and creativity.
5. Photography Competition:
The World through your lens.
6. Hidden Object Quest:
Test your power of observation to get to the quest.
7. Futsal:
Battle alongside your team to be the champions.
8. Obstacle ground:
Overcome the obstacles, find your way out.
9. Rock Climbing:
Climb towards your dream.
About Notre Dame Outward Bound Adventure Club:
Inside the campus:
Organizing Inter-class and Inter-college competitions such as a map-pointing game, ‘give me a clue’ etc.
Ensuring that the club activities reach up to school level.
Arranging special classes about extra-curricular activities for the club members on a monthly basis.
Facilitating regular seminars and symposiums on various socio-economic topics.
Developing a fondness towards reading and studying about various out-of-syllabus topics for the students.
Joining various discussions about recent significant social and cultural affairs.
Publishing the quarterly wall magazine and illustrated yearly club souvenir.
Outside the campus:
Exploring historical and geographical landmarks and gathering necessary knowledge about those places through close observation by the club members.
Making arrangements for visiting various remote areas of the country by walking.
Visiting different industries based on the specific interest of the members.
Arranging a yearly tour outside or inside the country for the members.
Organizing bike-riding training programs for members.
Familiarizing the members to various large public libraries in the country as well as libraries of different foreign embassies.
Distributing relief among the distressed and disaster-affected population.
Celebrating various national days or weeks throughout the year.

Eligibilities
- Eligible groups for the 3rd National Adventure Festival 2019 -**Junior group : Class 7 & 8;
**Senior group : Class 9 & 10;
**Intermediate group : Class 11,12 & this year’s HSC candidates.
