Faraaz Hossain Foundation is an initiative aimed to uplift the spirit of humanity in its many different facets. This aspiration stems from the unprecedented display of courage by Faraaz Hossain when he rose to defend his fellow human beings, in the face of extraordinary peril. Faraaz Hossain, raising high the banner of Courage, Friendship and Humanity, declined to leave his friends- Abinta Kabir and Tarishi Jain showing remarkable quality of character in the final moments of his life. With his valiant yield, Faraaz has associated a humankind of various race, religion and nationality bound by affection and harmony. In line with Faraaz’s irrepressible sense of affection for humanity regardless of nationality, race and gender, the Faraaz Hossain Foundation has been established. The aim of this foundation is to carry forward the ideals of Faraaz, through working with all its concerned stakeholders, for fellow human beings and hence to bring harmony and equality in society.

Faraaz ayaaz hossain a name etched forever in our heart; a name that shines today as a symbol of the unbreakable values of true courage ,friendship and humanity.

True courage is demonstrated when an individual, facing extreme danger, stands up to protect a fellow human being. Such a heroic deed was exemplified through Faraaz Hossain’s sacrifice, raising high the flag of Courage, Friendship and Humanity. When let go by the terrorists, Faraaz refused to leave his friends Abinta Kabir and Tarishi Jain displaying exceptional strength of character in the final moments of his life, rising above all self interest. Faraaz Ayaaz Hossain, a student of Emory University, Atlanta, USA, was martyred in the horrific attack at Holey Artisan Bakery, Dhaka on July 1, 2016. He sacrificed his life for his friends exemplifying true friendship, standing steadfast against injustice. With his valiant sacrifice, Faraaz has connected a humanity of different race, religion and nationality bound by love and harmony.
