Hands-on Arduino & Robotics Workshop 2019 in Dhaka.
A two-day, hands-on workshop on Arduino and Robotics is going to be held on June 20-21, 2019.
This event is conveyed to you by IEEE BUET Student Branch in a joint effort with IEEE Robotics and Automation Society Student Branch Chapter. Get your absolute first experience to interface equipment with programming utilizing Arduino. A viable learning background on Arduino through different Arduino ventures will be the essential focal point of this two-day workshop. Green beans are relied upon to be exceptionally profited by this workshop.

Workshop Content:
Day 01:
• Basics of Arduino;
• Digital Output;
• Digital Input;
• Analog Input;
• Pulse Width Modulation;
• Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) Interfacing;
• Sonar Sensor Interfacing;
• Optical Sensor Interfacing (TCRT 5000);
• Temperature Measurement (analog & digital);
• Motor Direction and Speed control based on temperature;
• Controlling servo.
Day 02:
• Efficient control for a DC motor for Robotic applications;
• How to code for a basic line following robot?
• Things to consider in making the body for the robot;
• Which battery to whose?
• Future directions and opportunities;
• Announcement of Makers’ Competition within workshop participants only.
A kit-box will be provided during the workshop and its included in the registration fee. The kit-box will contain the following components:

REGISTRATION FORMS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE MEMBERSHIP BOOTH AT PLINTH, ECE, BUET.
The workshop can be attended by forming a team of two students. Being an IEEE member will help reduce the registration fee as follows:
50% IEEE member: BDT 2500
No IEEE member: BDT 3000
Teams with IEEE members will get preference in the selection process.
