Millions of Rohingya people fled Myanmar to Bangladesh for the reason of violence in Arakan, of whom more than half are children, has caused a large-scale humanitarian crisis. Hundreds of Local & International NGO’s are responding, but they need more help specially from the young & educated community of Bangladesh to mitigate the crisis. So it is essential to create a platform to encourage youth generation to take actions along with others, so National Youth Conference on Capacity Building in Humanitarian Action will give that opportunity.
Over thirty NGOs with local authority will discuss the humanitarian situation in Cox’s bazaar and will enrich our youth community with case studies , motivation sessions, interactive sessions, field activities, exhibitions & the most priority needs in health & hygiene, WASH , Shelter , Food & Nutrition’s. UNHCR, WaterAid, WFP, Save The Children, IOM, BRAC will be there with Youth delegates.
#Outcome 1: Increased capacity of youth and youth-led groups to participate in humanitarian actions.
#Outcome 2: Stronger and more effective youth-led initiatives in humanitarian action at the regional level
#Outcome 3: Serve as a regional knowledge hub for networking among young humanitarian actors and professionals, designing innovative approaches, sharing data and best practices, and releasing publications.
