Vermicompost, this term may sound peculiar but farmers get tremendous beneficiaries from it. At present, organic farming is getting popular among people from all over the world. Vermicomposting has added a new dimension to organic farming.

We all know vermicompost is very favorable to soil that may add nutrients and minerals to plants, may also mitigate the use of fertilizer. The earthworms are basically placed below the ground and above the ground. Vermicompost is made with these works. For the preparation of organic fertilizers by vermicompost, it is also necessary to prepare peas, peas, cows, goats and poultry stool and pistil, and rotting trays with leaves.

IAAS Bangladesh is going to organize a one-day workshop on the production, implementation, and prospects of Vermicompost. People of all classes can participate in the workshop.

Agriculturist Rubayet Ara (Upazilla Agriculture Officer (LR), Department of Agriculture Extension, Khamarbari, Dhaka) will instruct the workshop.
