Youth Against Hunger (YAH) is the youth wing of Hunger Free World (HFW). HFW is a not-for-profit organization with headquarters in Japan and offices in Bangladesh, Benin, Uganda and Burkina Faso. YAH is the Bangladesh chapter of Youth Ending Hunger (YEH). Based in Japan, YEH has been internationally active since 1991. Both YEH and YAH operate by the motto- “do not let hunger end our youth, let our youth end hunger”.
Youth Against Hunger (YAH) members are students, aged between 14 and 25 years. They are creative, secular, culturally-minded and patriotic. Their members create and run development projects to fight against hunger and poverty. They focus on youth development, and work with villagers, local authorities, other NGOs and government.
