Yayasan Khazanah is a foundation established by Khazanah Nasional Berhad (Khazanah Nasional) – the investment-holding arm of the Government of Malaysia. In line with Khazanah’s commitment to selecting and grooming exceptional Malaysian citizens to take on high-level positions at the national level, Yayasan Khazanah is equally committed to developing leaders from fellow Asian countries.
Yayasan Khazanah, in collaboration with Yunus Centre, is offering the Khazanah Asia Scholarship to deserving candidates from Bangladesh to pursue their postgraduate education at selected leading universities globally and in Malaysia.
All students attending any public or private universities in Bangladesh can apply for a Masters or Ph.D. programme globally or in Malaysia under the following scholarship programme:
Khazanah Global Asia Scholarship – is offered to those who are planning to pursue or currently pursuing Postgraduate studies at selected leading universities in the United Kingdom and the United States.
Khazanah Asia Scholarship – is offered to those who are planning to pursue or currently pursuing Postgraduate studies at selected leading universities in Malaysia.
Field of Studies:
Business (Including but not limited to: Finance, Accountancy, Economics, Law, International Business, Actuarial Science etc.)
Engineering (Including but not limited to Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, etc.)
Life Sciences (Including but not limited to: Biotechnology, etc.)
Others (Disciplines/Courses) which are in niche-areas and important for the development of the participating countries.

Eligibilities
Criteria for Post Graduate Master Degree Studies:
- Obtained a minimum of Second Class (Upper) Division or where there is a point system, obtained a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.50 in Bachelor’s Degree
- Obtained admission to pursue studies at renowned universities (Conditional offer can be considered)
- Met the minimum language requirement set by the University i.e. IELTS band 6.5 and above for Khazanah Asia Global Scholarship
- Not exceeding 35 years of age as at the enrolment date for the Master programme
- Applicants will need to show evidence of leadership skills, through active participation in extra-curricular, social or voluntary activities
- Medically fit
Criteria for Ph.D. Programme:
- Obtained a distinction or ‘A’ grade average or equivalent (if there is a point system) or CGPA of 3.50 and above at Master Degree
- Obtained admission to pursue studies at renowned universities (Conditional offer can be considered)
- Met the minimum language requirement set by the University i.e. IELTS band 6.5 and above for Khazanah Asia Global Scholarship
- Not exceeding 40 years of age as at the enrolment date for the Ph.D. programme of Khazanah Global Scholarship
- Applicants will need to show evidence of leadership skills, through active participation in extra-curricular, social or voluntary activities
- Medically fit
Age limit:
For Masters, not exceeding 40 years of age as at the enrolment date for the Masters programme for Khazanah Global Scholarship, and, not exceeding 35 years of age as at the enrolment date for the Masters programme for Khazanah Asia Scholarship
