Job Responsibilities:
- Engage with prospects and merchants to understand their unique needs and challenges, and provide them with tailored commerce solutions.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and grow Shopify B2B usage in South East Asia, India, and GCR markets.
- Collaborate closely with solution engineers as part of a dynamic duo and coordinate with partner teams across multiple channels.
- Manage a comprehensive sales cycle from initial contact through to contract negotiations, maintaining a pipeline of opportunities.
- Act as an advocate and trusted advisor for merchants, using your insights and expertise to inform and influence product team decisions.
- Engage with industry stakeholders to gather market insights and strengthen Shopify’s ecosystem partnerships.
- Serve as a proactive point of contact for clients, ensuring an exceptional service experience.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance client engagements and outcomes.
- Keep abreast of the latest product features, industry trends, and market dynamics to provide the best possible advice and service to merchants.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to provide valuable insights to clients.

Eligibilities
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the digital commerce or technology sector.
- Strong understanding of the South East Asia and India market and its unique business landscape. B2B Selling experience to the South East Asia and India market is a must. Selling to the GCR market is a plus.
- Proven track record of over-attaining sales quota in consecutive years.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills — capable of building trusting relationships and effectively conveying the value of Shopify’s offerings.
- Proven ability to manage detailed sales cycles and succeed in a competitive environment.
- Adept at high-volume sales activities and capable of maintaining focus and efficiency in fast-paced settings.
- Expertise in B2B commerce, Shopify, and regional-specific B2B commerce applications, ecosystems, and integrations.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and strategy.
- Experience with CRM tools (for example: Salesforce), and familiarity with sales engagement platforms preferred.
- Self-motivated and driven by results, with the tenacity to pursue leads and close deals.
- A commitment to experimentation, continuous learning, and educating our enterprise customers, partner agencies, and internal teams.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and thrive on change.
- Knowledgeable in targeting and engaging potential clients through strategic questioning and active listening.
- A genuine concern for the success of our stakeholders and customers.
- MBA is preferred.
