Brac is looking for Manager, Capacity Strengthening, USAID Bangladesh America Maitree Project (BAMA) 2024 in Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the Head and Senior Manager, Capacity Strengthening and designing strategic plans and processes, mitigating possible risks, managing resources and budget execution of capacity development program interventions.
- Motivating team members to drive performance; coaching and developing team members to maximize their productivity and output. Oversees the day-to-day responsibilities of the capacity strengthening unit, ensuring smooth and efficient execution of duties; capacity/training need analysis, content development through subject matter experts, designing learning interventions for most effective learning, facilitating and executing programs, pre-training and post-training interventions, and measuring the quality and effectiveness of learning.
- Conducting needs analysis as per design and establishing customized plans for each participating organization
- Executing capacity building/training program through the facilitation of offline/online resources, training toolkits, and mentorship programs for target stakeholders. Also, work with subject matter experts for content development and delivery.
- Collaborating and acting as the bridge between top management of the project and all other relevant stakeholders; if any challenges or problems arise, must have strong relations with relevant stakeholders to ensure problems are solved with minimum supervision or intervention of top management.
- Partnering with relevant stakeholders (internal or external) to determine program priorities, roll-out plans, set program deadlines, ensure compliance and learn shift analytics.
- Applying tools to measure program delivery quality, which ensures continuous improvement, maintenance, and adjustment in program delivery approaches accordingly to maintain pace with the projected growth.
- Reporting results to key stakeholders for further and strategic decision-making and to influence informed decision-making.
- Learning, understanding and implementing programs as per the USAID and FH360 best practices and guidelines; learn and have knowledge of USAID regulations, policies and best practices in the areas of procurement, human resources and administration; and conversant knowledge of laws, regulations, rules of business, government functions and structure.
- Performing similar duties as s/he deems fit for the proper execution of his/her duties and duties delegated by the Head, Capacity Strengthening.

Educational Requirements
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Development or a related field. (Masters or MBA is preferred)

Experience Requirements
Minimum 5 years of working experience in training and capacity development, preferably working in a management position in a large project setting.
- Must have proven and successful experience facilitating capacity building/training campaigns through adult learning concepts and experiential learning.
