Job Description:
The People & Culture Officer will assure adherence to Oxfam’s policies and procedures:-
- ensuring effective payroll processing,
- final payment processing,
- medical claim management,
- timesheet and absence management,
- staff & volunteer contact management,
- PSHR data management.
- This also includes supporting the People, Culture & Organizational Development team in recruitment, personal file management and other HR operation and support services, as required.

Eligibilities
Job Requirements:-
An ideal candidate for the role will be / have:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, preferably, with a concentration in HRM
- Minimum 03 years’ full-time working experience in core HR functions in NGO/INGOs
- Sound understanding of Bangladesh Labor Act and human resources best practices, policies and procedures
- Excellent skills in MS Excel and proficient in other MS Office applications and Office 365
- Verbal fluency and a very good writing proficiency in both English and Bangla
- Minimum 01-year experience of working in HR in Emergency/Humanitarian Response
- Good understanding of Income Tax Ordinance 1984 and Income Tax Act 2023
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, an approachable working style, sensitivity to the needs of others
- Willingness to travel to sub-offices within Country as an when required
- Ability to work both within a team as well as independently, with minimum supervision
- Sound understanding of Gender, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
