Job Responsibilities

• Management of documentation for external reporting and maintaining relationships with the internal and external stakeholders.
• Review and verify all A/P invoices and payments.
• Management of Accounts Payable (A/P) and maintenance of A/P aging
• Reconciliations of Balance Sheet and Bank accounts.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly financial close process and review financial statements of the Bangladesh subsidiary prior to consolidation.
• Obtain, analyze and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts and current practices to ensure effective internal controls.
• Create Variance Analysis and monitoring of anomalies to raise flags of any inconsistencies and recommend solutions for them.
• Be adept at handling software such as Oracel NetSuite, Tipalti/Bill.com, MS Office and G-Suite.
• Continuous knowledge development of IFRS and Tax regulations.
• Ensure complete statutory compliance related to NBR, RJSC and BIDA.
• Collaborate with external auditors during annual statutory audit and perform quarterly/annual regulatory deadlines such as documentation of Board Meetings/Annual General Meetings etc.
• Perform Ad hoc tasks and functions when assigned.
• Willingness to produce innovations in work processes to facilitate effectiveness.
