Syngenta is looking for Factory HSE Manager 2023 in Chittagong.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Provide HSE support to Business, Functional and Site Leaders in the country and ensure compliance to Syngenta HSE policy, standards, code of practices and local legislations.
• Provide leadership, advice and support to enable effective identification and management of risk scenarios and HSE issues to all Syngenta assets and third party manufacturing within the country.
• Lead process risk assessment of all process dealing with highly hazardous chemicals, Lead workplace risk assessment of all activities and work with site team to ensure control to reduce all risks to acceptable level.
• Engage the Leaders and provide the information to set HSE targets / objectives, develop action plans, document, and track implementation until completion.
• Develop HSE capabilities and resources.
• Deliver HSE support to Chittagong sites, ensure the site HSE management systems, programs and procedures are in place.
• Establish and maintain networks with local authorities and keep abreast of any new or emerging HSE legislations.
• Ensure that proper environmental and operating permits are acquired for new facilities/operations and then maintained per local regulations.
• Ensure the requirements of key HSE processes (e.g. Letter of Assurance, Risk Management, Emergency Management System, Reporting and Incident Investigation) are delivered.
• Lead and implement Global and Regional HSE strategic initiatives.
