UN CAREER is looking for Consortium Finance Adviser Bangladesh (National Position) 2023 in Dhaka.

Job Responsibilities:

Generic responsibilities:

  • Overall coordination between Finance Focal Points of Consortia Members / Financial Technical Reference
    Groups.
  • Financial analysis and reporting of consortia members’ financial expenditures and comparison of actual
    with the forecast.
  • Review and consolidate the consortia budgets.
  • Provide regular analysis and reports.
  • Implement anti-corruption policy.
  • Promote the rights of IDPs/returnees in line with the advocacy strategy.
  • Acting as finance focal point for other Consortia where NRC is the grant holder when required.
  • Ensure that the annual project closure is done properly, and no costs are left unreported to donors.
  • Focal point for conducting financial due diligence of potential Consortia members in upcoming consortia.

Specific responsibilities:
These responsibilities shall be adapted to the particularities of the job location and context, phase of operation,
strategic focus and type of intervention. This section shall be revised whenever a new employee is hired or the
context changes significantly.

  • Direct focal point for financial management of all NRC led consortia.
  • Ensure the technical aspect of finance is met in consortia within NRC and it is practiced based on NRC
    global consortium guidelines.
  • Collect analyze and consolidate periodic (monthly/quarterly/yearly) financial reports from Consortia Members.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits between Consortia Members in cooperation with the consortia manager.
  • Review and provide feedback to Consortia Members on periodic (monthly/quarterly/yearly) financial reports.
  • Consolidate and submit monthly/quarterly and ad-hoc financial reporting package (Financial Report,
  • Inventory List, and Instalment Request) to Consortia Coordination Unit’s Manager on time.
  • Ensure that reports are in compliance with donor template and specific reporting requirements.
  • Lead the forecast preparation process to ensure that Consortia Members submit a more reliable and realistic forecast that can be achieved.
