Banglalink is looking for Head of Business Development, Toffee 2023 in Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
- Formulate the long-term and short-term revenue generating strategies, various revenue & Pricing models in the space of SVOD/ TVOD/ Freemium Model and Advertising (AVOD) models & strategic partnerships scopes to help device the yearly roadmap
- Assist Toffee and top management with revenue forecasting, planning, and strategizing new revenue streams by analyzing the market opportunities.
- Identify opportunities that help improve the overall performance of digital programs and campaigns and monitor the onboarding and partnership deals with ad networks, SSPs, DSPs, media agencies, corporates and various SVOD
- Closely work with the team in integrating ad tech and other revenue-based service solutions with Toffee platforms and guide the team in creating new business models, pricing strategies, and sponsorship plans for toffee contents
- Assist the team in defining clear strategies and plans to onboard /retain corporate clients and sponsors for Toffee exclusive contents and on-board top advertisers.
- Drive partnerships with telco and Fin-Techs for integrating payment vehicles with toffee platform and analyze and monitor the planning and delivery of the roadmap
- Analyze and Monitor ad analytics and other revenue model analytics to take decisions through identifying new opportunities and improve the performance of the ad networks and other revenue models and support the team in using analytics and business intelligence tools such as global and internal dashboards to better understand consumer behaviors and revenue performances
- Develop the team’s capability to champion metrics-driven analysis and decision-making and assist the team in developing the CVM plans in light with data driven analytics
- Closely work with the other functions to ensure that there is a shared goal of improving revenue generating program and performances and in meeting revenue targets for the business
- Move and inspire the cross-functional teams and assist in guiding towards a unified objective and with a unified vision and work closely with the senior team members on revenue strategies, formulation of targets, strategies for marketing campaigns, and departmental budgetary allocations
- Spearhead, strengthen and oversee performance of each member of the team, mentor the key personnel, assist in the execution of their functional tasks, ensure that their professional skills are consistently growing and ensure the team is equipped with the adequate knowledge

Eligibilities
Academic Qualification
- BBA/ BSc and/ or MBA/ MS/ Arts from a reputed university with major in Communication/ Media/ Marketing/ Finance/ Computer Science/ Business Policy & Strategy
Job Experience Required
- 10+ years of direct, growth-focused experience in OTT/Digital business development with the ability to generate revenue by identifying pain points and implementing the suitable business and revenue models in multiple revenue concepts.
- Experience in performance marketing position within a fast paced and dynamic market environment in digital Advertisement (ad network, SSP, DSP, corporate), business development with a successful track record of leading a cross functional team and achieving challenging targets and standards
- Suitable candidate should also have proven experience in managing both offline and online marketing programs and successfully delivering improvement in a business’s marketing
Required Capabilities
- Solid expertise in ad networks and/or exchange side experience with various OTT monetization models, business development, communications, strategy & marketing within the mobile or digital space
- Strong relationship management within digital ad eco-system preferred
- Organization, attention to detail, and self-motivation with a deep interest and proven success in hunting for, developing and closing new business
- Consistent record of achievement in goals and being revenue driven
- Define Ad port-folio strategy and creation
- Drive partnerships with ad networks, SSPs, DSPs, media agencies, corporates enrich the ad portfolio
- Skill in crafting new business models and presenting tailor made strategies to management
- Solid experience with video streaming platform business/ revenue models
- Extensive experience in sales/business development for a mobile or online advertising platform,
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
- Good understanding of the OTT content platform industry, digital market landscape and environment
- Good analytics and problem-solving ability
- Thorough understanding of various online and offline marketing funnels
- Data driven and should be curious about and tell stories using data
- Strong sense of ownership and determination to get things done
- Humility and eagerness to learn and grow
- Adaptability and resilience to quick changes in priorities, technology, tools and workflow.
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
- Team-player who operates in a fast-paced team-oriented setting
- Ability to be discrete and maintain confidential information
