AVERY DENNISON is looking for Executive – Direct sourcing ( Procurement ) 2023 in Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
- nderstand supply market of Raw material to produce garments tag.
- Develop new Suppliers from different regions.
- Negotiate with suppliers to maximize the value i.e price, quality, payment/delivery terms & conditions .
- Suppliers offer collection, make comparison and do the financial validation.
- Understand & calculate total cost of End to End sourcing.
- Supplier performance measurement & evaluation.
- Generate savings through product and process reengineering.
- Complete required documents & procedure for purchases as per SOP & Audit requirement.
- Comparing items requested to the master list; clarifying unclear items; recommending alternatives.
- Verifying specifications and price; obtaining recommendations from suppliers for substitute items
- Different report preparation and analysis based on purchase data.
- Strictly follow the procurement process and policy.
- Performs ad hoc basis job duties as required.
Other Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with SC sub functions i.e. Demand Planning, Production Planning, Warehouse & Import team to maintain SC efficiency.
- Liaise cross functional teams i.e. GPD, Manufacturing, Sales, Finance to meet business requirements i.e. New RBO, production deployment etc.
- Maintain records as required by process and policy
- Maintain records of purchases and specifications of material/goods ordered.
- Manage, maintain timely reporting as per business requirements

Eligibilities
- Business Graduate from any reputed university preferably with a major in SC, Operation Management. ( Prefer – tech savvy)
- Minimum 3 to 5 years working experience in procurement function of any reputed organization.
- Excellent speaking and writing skills in both English and Bangla.
- Computer literacy with working knowledge of MS Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Effective written and interpersonal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of personnel.
- Strong Analytical, interpersonal and managerial skills.
- Immaculate credentials on honesty & integrity with a solid track record.
