Job Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership, administrative management, and technical direction to ensure an integrated Activity vision and successful achievement of objectives
- Serve as the primary liaison with USAID, host country governments, counterparts, private sector entities, community stakeholders, and DAI Home Office management on strategic, managerial, and technical implementation matters
- Responsible for annual work planning development process, implementation of workplan activities, and delivery of annual targets
- Interface as needed with clients, conferring with the USAID Contracting Officer’s Representative on challenges and opportunities to minimize costs and risk and maximize impact, efficiency, and sustainability to achieve targeted results
- Plan, organize, and oversee all Activity interventions with responsibility for personnel, efficient budgeting and financial management, and compliance with USAID, USG, and Government of Bangladesh laws, regulations, policies, and procedures, as well as full compliance with DAI policies
- Ensure that all program activities are cohesive, mutually supportive, and conform to the terms and conditions of the contract, including cost, schedule, and quality parameters
- Submit timely, accurate, and high-quality reporting and deliverables to USAID and DAI on all program areas; present findings in both written and oral presentations as required
- Be responsive to community, government, and other stakeholders and ensure the project is effectively communicated
- Identify short-term technical and operational consulting requirements and prepare draft SOWs as needed
- Other tasks when necessary to achieve or exceed Activity objectives

Eligibilities
- Master’s degree or equivalent preferred in business, economics, finance, international development, or a related field
- At least 10 years of experience working on issues related to agricultural finance, blended finance, agribusiness, investment facilitation, sustainable agricultural or economic development, or a relevant field; experience with these topics supporting vulnerable populations—including youth, women, rural communities, and indigenous minorities—is preferred
- Minimum five years of senior experience (as Chief of Party or equivalent leadership role) managing large international donor-funded programs in complex environments similar to Bangladesh
- Proven success fostering collaborative partnerships and managing relationships with a range of stakeholders, including bank and non-bank financial institutions, host-country governments, international donors, local organizations and community groups, and the private sector
- Successful history of building, managing, and mentoring teams of staff, sub-awardees, and consultants in complex environments
- Prior experience working in Bangladesh or South Asia strongly preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and fluent written/spoken English abilities required; Bengali language abilities also desired
