Epic Group is looking for Sr. Manager/ AGM – Fabric Innovation & Sustainability 2022 in Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop fabrics by ensuring sustainability and reviewing for proposing to customers.
- Develop fabric mills briefing and seasonal mill evaluation.
- Lead price negotiation with fabric mills.
- Prepare sustainability trend analysis and select the relevant product.
- Follow up continuously on woven, denim and non-denim bulk fabric materials with mills and complete the required approval process on time.
- Prepare and share fabric trends/inspiration/collection with Designers
- and customers.
- Research fabric innovations related to sustainability and develop concepts to take forward.
- Work with Fiber Suppliers and Mills to develop innovative fabrics and garments to offer the customers embracing circularity and sustainability.
- Work with internal consultants and internal teams to measure the environmental impact of products.
- Work with early-stage innovators to support and develop their products to make them market-ready.

Eligibilities
- 4-5 years experience – garment industry experience is an added.
- Educational Qualification: B.Sc in Textile Engineering
- Good understanding of fabric technology and garment finishing for woven products including denim.
- Good understanding on sustainability principles for the apparel industry.
- Good understanding of circularity and recycling.
