Avery Dennison is hiring Associate Manager, Tax and VAT 2022 in Dhaka.

• Execute all Tax, VAT and Bond activities in order to ensure compliance with prevailing laws, process and procedures.
• Supervise and guide the team in timely preparation, review and filing of Tax/VAT returns accurately as applicable.
• Support proper WHT (Withholding tax) and related returns
• Ensure all VAT operations including:
• Ensure VDS (VAT deduction at source) and maintain VAT books, ensuring 6.3, 6.6 etc.
• Support VAT audit: documents preparation, attending hearing and related works.
• Support for VAT software: implementing and managing software, integration with Oracle etc.
• Ensure effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax process to ensure compliances.
• Identify potential tax risks and minimize/mitigate those.
• Support with documents and data for all tax disputes and litigations.
• Provide support with various regulatory audits and lead special tax related projects.
• Closely work with auditors to finalize Tax liability including deferred tax for each financial year and Local Transfer pricing documentation and compliances.
• Maintain proper record keeping for Bonded warehouses at factories in line with requirements of the law.
• Engage with Supply Chain, Finance and Sales to timely update various documents.
• Ensure approval of input-output coefficient.
• Providing support for resolving Bond related disputes and appeals with respective authorities.
• Work closely with Supply Chain for any custom related queries and follow up
