The International Foundation for Electoral Systems is hiring Administrative Assistant 2022 in Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Head of Operations, the Administrative Assistant’s responsibilities will include:
- Supervise the maintenance and proper functioning of the office and office facilities, including maintenance, supply purchasing, and repairs, coordinate with the landlord when needed;
- Keep the reception area in a neat and presentable condition;
- Greet visitors and direct them to designated staff;
- Assist staff in organizing transportation , ensure vehicle log circulation and compile documents for payment;
- Record outgoing letters/packages and coordinate with courier service provider for delivery and compile document for payment, and record incoming mails, invoices and faxes and distribute them as necessary;
- Assist the Dhaka team in preparing logistics for meetings, events, and other activities;
- Assist in office maintenance and office billing payments;
- Assist in filing all operational and administration documents;
- Ensure that IFES Bangladesh office premises maintains the required health, safety and hygiene standards .
Primary Function/Purpose
The Administrative Assistant will assist the Head of Operation in ensuring the smooth operation of the IFES Bangladesh office in Dhaka, providing administrative and office management support .

Eligibilities
Education And Qualifications
- Diploma in secretarial support, business administration, finance, human rights, or related field. B achelor’s Degree preferred;
- Up to 2 years of experience will office administrative functions ;
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Power point, and Outlook.
