Wipro is looking for System Engineer – VAS 2022 in Dhaka
Job Responsibility
- Ensure 2nd line O & M of VAS & MFS nodes/services and provide Technical expertise to lead the team for cross functional activity to analyze the system and service quality for VAS (Digital and conventional).
- Increase customer satisfaction on different VAS & MFS products through maintaining the service quality and ensure the performance by reducing outage, stretched SLA and reducing MTTR for all VAS, E-Refill (ERS & Scratch cards) and MFS nodes.
- Develop and deploy the roll out plan for SW and HW upgrades in live platforms to Ensure new feature during SW/HW implementation / up gradation and also maximize the reusability of existing H/W and S/W systems.
- Ensuring new node integration, configuration & user acceptance testing (UAT) and platform/service migration. Perform role of Migration lead for any critical system/platform migration.
- Support for new product & campaign design & execution and take business critical decisions on operational aspect.
- Explore technologies, best practices, Proof of concept (PoC) and process for both Telco, VAS & Business Services and do Co-ordination with planner for necessary Inter-operability and integration with other services and associated platforms.
- Security Portfolio Management and Operationalization of security policies and group business security observations in VAS nodes, participate in Internal and external audit for access, Conduct user access review of VAS platforms, Proactive security assessment, various protocol analyses and enhance user experience for different VAS services.

Eligibilities
Education, Skills & Experience Requirements
- BSc. Engineering in Electrical and Electronics/ Computer Science & Engineering /Telecommunications
- 8+ years overall experience in O&M, Preference on VAS Domain and Core/IT network
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
Special Skill Requirements
- Experience in Shell scripting & PL SQL.
- Clear idea on GSM architecture.
- Strong Knowledge on SMSC, USSD & IN platform.
- Understanding of behavior and the limitation of USSD messages/sessions.
- Clear Understanding of GSM MAP messages flow for USSD transaction including PSSR, USSR, and USSN.
- Basic idea of SCCP and TCAP messages and its behavior.
- SMPP based USSD message integration will be added advantage.
- Strong proficiency on Web Application knowledge, SOAP API, RESTful API and JSON will be considered as additional qualification.
- Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: C/C++, Java, PHP, Python is a plus
- Demonstrate positive attitude, ownership, initiative and self-organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective collaborative environment even at stressed situation.
- Able to multi-task and work independently with minimum supervision to meet deadlines
