Japan Tobacco International is hiring Corporate Security Supervisor 2022 in Dhaka.

What Will You Do:

  • Provide timely advice based on analysis/assessment of security risk/threat and impact to enable well-informed business decisions to protect JTI / JT travelers to Bangladesh
  • Assist Country Security Manager to develop and execute security plans and business-aligned security measures and procedures to meet JTIU Bangladesh Market business objectives ensuring compliance with JTI and Corporate Security travel security standards
  • Implement necessary security countermeasures, based on existing Corporate Security policy and travel security guidelines, and industry best practices as required by the Bangladesh Corporate Security Manager and Regional Corporate Security Director
  • Assist Country Security Manager to manage all aspects of assets and supply chain security at the (Country / Market) in (location), including supervising the contracted guard force; destruction of finished goods and NTM’S; access control systems, alarm systems, CCTV camera installations, and other security systems, processes, and procedures
  • Maintain effective trusted network relations with LEA, appropriate authorities, security and emergency services, and professionals from other companies
  • Manage service providers, guards, and monitor the effectiveness of, contracted services involved in JTI Bangladesh security, and assist the Bangladesh Corporate Security Manager review service scopes and SLAs
  • Assist the Bangladesh Corporate Security Manager with the protection of executives (including expatriates who have additional exposures), employees, key stakeholders & visitors
  • Provide effective liaison between agencies/ users and JTI Corporate Security, during the business integration, as tasked by the Bangladesh Corporate Security Manager, in support of JTI Bangladesh operations
  • Perform other relevant Corporate Security tasks, in line with the agreed Corporate Security Policy, Procedure, and Guideline, as delegated by the Bangladesh Corporate Security Manager

Eligibilities

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a reputed University
  • Minimum 5 years experience with a military, law enforcement, intelligence organization, or private sector corporate security organization
  • Proven, effective, and high-level, relationships with Bangladesh police and security forces
  • Strong knowledge of security processes such as Manned Guarding, Cash in Transit, Meet & Greet, secure transportation, Executive Protection, etc.
  • Able to establish the initial facts of security incidents to record and report them accurately
  • Understand the implications of the facts as reported and can formulate a comprehensive report with appropriate findings and recommendations and an action plan for management
