A.P. Moller – Maersk is looking for Team Leader Lead Logistics 2022 in Dhaka.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting targets and deliverables objectives for respective team members report to this role
- Follow up of daily work of the team, controlling the scope of work and implementation activities for respective team members report to this role
- Conduct performance appraisals and review evaluating the tasks / job of the respective teams, carryout performance appraisals for respective team members report to this role
- Give proper Guidance, Direction and supervise for respective team members report to this role
- Granting leave for respective team members report to this role
- Lead, coach and manage the OPS team and its activities.
- Directly interact with the off-docks and Shipping Lines to ensure regular & smooth communication, especially on the Cargo Receiving, Stuffing Reports, Vessel Sailing information, documents release, etc.
- Maintain close observation with GSC team and ensure system updates are done timely and correctly in first go.
- Making team members aware of Customers satisfaction through accurate & timely operation
- Highly focus on Customers KPI’s, Milestones and meet the deadline & accuracy
- Provide support to reporting head to achieve targeted goal on operations & cost savings
- Minimise claims and customer complain through strong follow-up and awareness to all concerned.
- To implement new rules & procedures as & when set by clients
- Efficient Team management & elevating their skills

Eligibilities
Required experience & skills
- Graduation or Post Graduation from any public or renowned private university
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in shipping & logistics business
- Sound knowledge on all Shipping and Logistics products
- Fluency in English and Bengali (verbal and written)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proactive and quick responsiveness
- Ability to guide people through innovative ideas
- Diversified character with ability to work under extreme pressure
- Efficient communication and management skills
