British Council is hiring Teacher Trainer – Training of Master Trainers in English (TMTE) Project (Bangladesh) 2022 in Dhaka

Eligibilities
• Undergraduate university degree (i.e. BA in any discipline) plus a recognised teaching certificate (either Cambridge CELTA/DELTA or Trinity College DipTESOL). Post-graduate qualifications and certifications preferred.
• At least 5 years post-qualification (Cambridge CELTA or Trinity TESOL) experience (preferably within the last 10 years)
• At least 250 hours of teacher training experience (applications from exceptionally qualified teachers with fewer training hours may be considered)
• Teaching skills (all at Level 2) related to classroom management, course and lesson planning, subject knowledge, understanding your learners and learning technologies
• The post holder will be working with primary-level teachers and therefore knowledge about how children learn is essential
• High proficiency in English (i.e. full mastery of English across all 4 skills – equivalent to user CEFR C2 or IELTS Band 8/9 in each of 4 sections of the academic module)
• Experience of working in the state school sector, either as a teacher or teacher trainer (Desirable)
• Experience teaching primary aged children and experience in delivering similar English language training programmes (Desirable)
• Experience working in remote locations in a development context (Desirable)
