Eligibilities
To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
- A University Degree or higher in Public Health/Nutrition, Information Technology, Information Management, Computer Sciences, or any related field. Additional training/background in database management and statistics is an asset.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Information Management, data analysis or similar activities in a developing country is required. This includes experience in conveying technical information through different information products, including through presenting information on maps, dashboards, and useable matrices.
- Advanced knowledge and expertise in Excel, database management, GIS mapping, Real-Time Monitoring and mobile data collection tools will be preferred.
- Experience in working on health/nutrition information systems, working in a humanitarian context, project development in a UN system agency or organization, previous working in the public health or nutrition field, and experience in facilitating training will be preferred.
- Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergency is considered an asset.
- Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
