IOM is hiring SAFE Plus Consortium Coordinator – P4 2021 in Cox’s Bazar.
The International Organization for Migration (IOM), Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and World Food Program (WFP) are implementing a joint program, SAFEPlus to address the challenges of cooking fuel demand, environmental degradation, and food insecurity which are affecting the refugee settlements and the surrounding host communities. Under the overall supervision of Chief of Mission (CoM), the direct supervision of the Deputy Chief of Mission (DCoM)/Head of Sub-Office for Cox’s Bazar and the regular coordination with FAO and WFP Heads of Sub Offices, the successful candidate will be accountable and responsible for the macro implementation and management of agencies programming initiatives on energy, environment and livelihoods in a united way as well as the provision of associated technical advice to IOM, WFP and FAO and its partners.
Responsibilities:
- To ensure effective and efficient delivery for all aspects of the program,
- Overseeing quality control and reporting and interfacing with government officials, donors; and other actors in Cox’s Bazar.
- Additionally provide substantive inputs to program development initiatives on alternative energy,environmental protection and livelihoods, forge partnership.
- Lead/participate in relevant inter-agency coordination mechanisms.
