Brac is looking for Manager, Bull Station (BRAC Artificial Insemination Enterprise) 2021 in Mymensingh
Responsibilities:
- Prepare yearly budget, production and procurement plan.
- Coordination between different departments of Bull Station for preparing different plans.
- Ensure smooth and qualitative semen production based on target plan.
- Ensure proper management of breeding Bull, Buck & Ram including fodder production and supply.
- Ensure over all bio-security of Bull Station.
- Ensure the staff management and team building activities.
- Trained the staffs such a way that they can do if anybody would be absent in production process.
- Tagged with procurement process, receives and distribution of procured AI materials to the CCAs as per plan. Ensure the distribution accordingly.
- Coordinate with accounts department to make more profitability in Bull Station as well as AI enterprise.
- Ensure proper accounting and fund collection from Head office & Control production cost.
- Preparation of PMS with related staffs. Accordingly assessment of related staffs.
- Ensure proper handling & maintenance of all machineries of laboratory and others.
- Ensure proper communication with BAU, GO, NGOs & BRAC as per direction of authorities.
- Prepare reports & documents and send to the authorities & preserve all documents properly.
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
- Do other duties as assigned.

Eligibilities
Educational Requirements:
- The candidate should have graduate in Animal Husbandry/ DVM/ Veterinary Science and Animal Health with minimum 2nd division/ class or equivalent GPA/ CGPA 2.50 in all academic examinations from reputed university.
Experience Requirement:
- Minimum 05 years working experience in related field (Animal Breeding and Genetics/ Theriogenology) where at least 03 years’ experience in dairy farm management, animal treatment and managerial role will be given preference.
Additional Requirements:
- Experience in Poultry/ Feed/ Dairy/ Artificial Insemination are preferred.
- Must have sound knowledge on Breeding & AI activities
- Must have ability to manage multiple tasks with prioritizing deadlines and opportunities
- Must have motivational, people management and leadership skills
- Must have excellent analytical ability & ability to work under pressure
- Must have good communication skill both in Bengali and English
- Must have good report writing, presentation and computer skills
- Education and Age may be relaxed for more experience/ suitable candidates
