Key Responsibilities / Tasks

- Translate website design wireframes to actual code that will produce a working website
- Add interactivity to websites and static workflows with JavaScript (or jQuery)
- Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability
- Use semantic codes to meet modern web standards
- Customize SalesForce web forms in terms of style and features
- Customize WordPress/theme based websites
- Update/maintain wordpress plugins
- Interface third party tools or plugins with WordPress CMS
- Setup Google custom search engine
- Setup Google analytics and Google tag manager for websites

Eligibilities
- Interaction design understanding, with a passion for usability and web accessibility
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
- Solid understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3 and Responsive Design. Familiarity with Bootstrap is a plus.
- Sound knowledge about API integrations with WordPress CMS
- Strong working knowledge of various WordPress custom themes and plug-ins.
- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript. Understanding of Javascript Libraries and Frameworks is a plus
- Solid understanding of server-side language (PHP & MySQL)
- Basic understadning about webmaster tools
- Familiarity with SalesForce frameworks is a plus.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
- Good understanding of SEO principles and implementation
- Good problem solving skills
Preference will be given to Bachelor’s Degree in Computer and Information Technology and a strong portfolio that displays technical ability. Demonstrated ability with HTML/CSS, Content Management Systems (especially WordPress), and/or web development.
