Coda Payments (https://www.codapayments.com/) helps Google, Tencent, and other leading digital content providers monetize their products in places where credit and debit cards aren’t widely used. They establish partnerships with a wide range of alternative payment channel operators who make it possible for customers to pay in other ways: paying cash at retail, using a mobile wallet, making a bank transfer, or redeeming a prepaid card.
Coda also allows publishers to accept payments through these various methods on their own website or at their gaming e-commerce site – codashop.com.
Responsibilities
As part of the Global Marketing Team, you will be responsible for expanding and strengthening the Codashop Community in the Bangladesh region. Your mission is to increase Codashop brand love by developing a feeling of belonging among Community members. Your goal is to create and animate a vibrant space where people meet, make friends, interact together and with the brand. You will more specifically be in charge of:
- Lead in developing deep relationships with the Community Members at a local level.
- Fostering interesting conversations and high engagement on the different community channels (Codashop forum, Discord, social media pages).
- Preparing and coordinating the execution of online community events for the local market.
- Working closely with the Social Media team to roll-out creative and engaging campaigns.
- Working with the Product and UX/UI Teams to bring the community at the heart of the overall Codashop experience.
Coda Payments was founded in 2011 to make it easier for customers in Southeast Asia to transact online. Coda’s flagship offering is Codapay, an alternative payment service provider that enables digital content providers to accept payments in Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam, Laos, Taiwan, Cambodia, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, U.A.E., and Egypt using payment channels that every consumer can use, even if they don’t have a credit or debit card. Eligibilities
- At least 2 years of experience building and entertaining gaming communities.
- Good understanding of social media platforms.
- Passionate about games and online interactions (social media, online chat, forums, etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in English is a must.
