OPM Bangladesh is seeking Assistant Consultants for 6-month contract positions. The roles will be based in Dhaka and can be turned into permanent roles after performance assessment.
Oxford Policy Management Bangladesh has been actively working on policy issues, socio-economic challenges, and political dynamics in the country, for the last 20 years. They provide support in implementing projects in Bangladesh, including surveys, studies, and technical assistance.

Qualifications
Applicants are expected to have the following qualifications:
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Right to work in Bangladesh
- Fluency in Bangla
- A strong master’s degree from a reputable university
- Degree in economics, public policy, development studies, or a related field
- Research and analysis skills including demonstrated ability in quantitative and qualitative research methods. Including the use of statistical packages, with a preference for STATA and R
- Demonstrated interest and experience in development and public policy in Bangladesh
- Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years’ experience in Bangladesh working in a research or public policy capacity, in an area related to OPM’s work
