Citi is looking for a Reconciliation Analyst 2020 in Dhaka.
The Proofing Specialist ensures the integrity of the balances through substantiation and reconciliation of the Subsidiary Ledger with the legacy systems of all Banking Groups. S/he ensures that these are completed within the service level agreement with the country being supported.
S/he may also be involved in special projects to support management and site deliverables that would benefit the center in general.
The Proofing Unit is responsible to ensure the integrity of the Citi Balance Sheet by ensuring a review of assigned Balance Sheet accounts on a regular basis and monitors the movement and aging of related balances. The team is responsible that the issues and known risks are properly reported and escalated to seniors on a timely basis based on the agreed escalation process.
The Proofing Specialist supports Finance and other responsible units across regions. This role sits in BSS Function, under Citi Finance and reports to the Team Lead for Proofing
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations for numerous legal vehicles to a high standard in line with Corporate guidelines
- Responsible for the follow-up and resolution of reconciling items
- Responsible for the accurate reporting of the status of the reconciliations owned into Citi reporting tool ‘eRecon
- Communicating with Legal Entity Managers across multiple locations on the status of the reconciliations performed
- Escalating any account related issues to Regional Balance Sheet Control
- Proactive Stake Holder Management eg. Country, BSCG, GPL & GPO

- Takes charge of own training needs and develops a training plan. Proactively discusses IDP’s with a span of control leader and acts on the feedback
- Performs testing for system enhancements or resolutions to ensure that updates/changes will not disrupt the production process once implemented
- Connecting with various input providers for proofing within the given deadline
