This position assists customers, via telephone and email, by liaising with offshore Global Payments Services teams to obtain responses to their transactional and other related queries. This is important given the local language and time zone considerations. The position also assists with escalations.

Account/Client Customer Service/Relationship Management

  • Responsible for providing customer service to a portfolio of bank customers primarily designated Bangladesh-based customers, but with the skills and flexibility to cover customers in other geographies as required.
  • Responding to customer inquiries related to WFBNA products/ services and intermediate referral for resolution by WFBNA Operations off-shore
  • Provide customers with updates and status of pending investigations or resolution of inquiries/issues being resolved off-shore by WFBNA Operations
  • Communicates regulatory and company requirements, track compliance and reports / escalate identified issues for resolution.
  • Collection/documentation of Customer Due Diligence and Enhanced Due Diligence in line with WFBNA policy/procedures on behalf of offshore client onboarding teams
  • In-take of a customer complaint related to WFBNA products/ services and intermediate referral for resolution by WFBNA Operations off-shore.
  • If required, provide ad hoc translation support to other offices of WFBNA.
  • Provide the same standard of customer care to our internal team members, who may, in turn, be servicing Wells Fargo’s financial institution customers in various countries across the globe.

Office Administration

  • Provide support to rep office to ensure effective, safe, efficient working environment for team members that captures tasks such as expenses management, regulatory submission and vendor management.
  • Projects as designated by the Country Manager.

Eligibilities

  • University degree in Banking, Finance or related discipline.
  • Two to three years’ experience as customer service in banking or financial services industry, preferably in the environment of a call centre or a trade and payment operation centre.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of financial products and services and the ability to respond to complex inquiries while working under general guidance.
  • Problem-solving skills in identifying and understanding issues, problems, and opportunities; comparing data from different sources to draw conclusions; using effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions; taking action that is consistent with available facts, constraints, and probable consequences.
  • Detail-oriented in accomplishing tasks by considering all areas involved; showing concern for all aspects of the job; accurately checking processes and tasks.
  • Initiative and proactive, taking prompt action to accomplish objectives; taking action to achieve goals beyond what is required.
  • Teamwork in developing and using collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals. Actively participating as a member of a team to move the team toward the completion of goals.
