Since 2006, ITRI has been hosting around 35 international students each summer for internships of 2-3 months, while also offering a limited number of longer internships of 4-6 months during Spring, Summer, and Fall.

ITRI Internship Application Page link The Internship is open to Bachelor, Master, PhD students or anyone with a student status in a University outside Taiwan. There is no application fee and IELTS is also not required. The Objective of the Internship is to gain valuable experience, work on cutting-edge projects, and expand your global network with ITRI.

The Program Covers:
- Accommodation on ITRI campus – modern dormitories on a spacious campus with dining and recreational facilities
- Monthly stipend (before taxes): NT$24,000 – NT$40,000 per month, depending on student’s experience and department’s situation; if you are offered a position, the offer will specify the stipend and other details.
- Free ITRI Group Insurance (Note: this is Accident Insurance – those who want full medical coverage must purchase it independently.)

Eligibility Criteria
- Accepted interns MUST be able to provide documentary evidence from the university of student status during and after the entire period of the internship.
- Candidates must hold a valid passport from a country other than Taiwan (ROC).
- The Internship is open to all the Nationals.
- English is the primary working language.
