This fellowship allows individuals who are passionate about reshaping the future of education in rural communities to join their mission of building the next generation of sustainability leaders through Education, Advocacy, and Innovation. They believe that every child, irrespective of their socio-economic background, deserves quality education that can pave the way to a brighter future.
They Are Seeking:
- Early Childhood Educators: Professionals who specialize in play methods, creative teaching, and child-centered pedagogies.
- Nursery and Primary Educators: Individuals dedicated to building a strong foundational knowledge for kids, with a flair for innovative teaching methodologies.
- Secondary School Educators (STEM-focused): Passionate educators who can bring Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math to life for young teenagers.
Fellowship Duration: 1 year
They work to preserve and protect the planet and its natural resources for future generations.
They believe that everyone has a role to play in creating a sustainable future and strive to make their programs accessible and welcoming to people of all backgrounds and identities.
They recognize that solving the world’s environmental challenges requires the expertise and input of a diverse range of stakeholders. They work closely with governments, businesses, and other organizations to develop and implement practical solutions.
EDUCATION
They offer a range of education programs and resources focused on promoting sustainability and empowering individuals to take action. These include conferences and events such as the World Environment Day Symposium and World Sustainability Conference, as well as leadership programs and fellowships that support the development of values-based leaders.
ADVOCACY
They work to drive change on global and domestic challenges through initiatives that raise awareness and advocate for sustainable policies and practices. This includes the Green Room, in which experts and leaders reflect, connect, and share ideas, and their international partnerships in 11 nations that address global challenges and develop civil society.
INNOVATION
They promote innovative thinking and solutions through media resources and their commitment to staying at the forefront of research and developments in the field of sustainability. This includes conducting research in their thematic focus areas of Education, Environment, Energy, Equity, and Economics (E5).
