Wave LF is a nonprofit organization seeking to address long-standing inequities in education opportunities. They believe in a world where students – regardless of socioeconomic background – can explore new interests, ignite a passion for learning, and succeed. They host free Zoom tutoring, summer seminars, speaker workshops, provide college application support, and much more.
Why Wave?
- Free & Accessible Programming
All of their resources are free in an effort to make educational opportunities more accessible to all. They’re driven by their passion for educational equity. - Fun & Passionate Student Instructors
Since instructors are high school upperclassmen and college students, you’ll be learning from passionate, relatable, and knowledgeable student mentors. - Love of Learning
In seminars, they explore niche topics that you may not learn in a traditional classroom, whether in “The Mathematics of Burritos” or “Greek Mythology & Storytelling.” With tutoring, students receive personalized attention to help them grow as learners and succeed in the classroom. - Community
At Wave, you will be part of a welcoming and diverse community of learners. In seminars and tutoring sessions alike, you will connect with other middle and high school students around the world.
