There are 2 Fully Funded PhD Scholarships available for Fall 2019 in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Colorado Boulder, in the area of biomedical microfluidics and lab on a chip.
University of Colorado Boulder conducts highly multidisciplinary research at the frontiers of science, engineering, and biomedicine. Currently our group focus on the micro/nanotechnology (Microfluidics and MEMS) for (1) cell manipulation and analysis, (2) cell membrane disruption for precise intracellular and subcellular drug delivery, and (3) Micro/nano-manipulation. We aim to develop innovative technologies and tools to solve challenging problems in biomedicine and to improve human health. They take it as their responsibility to train future leaders dedicated to excellence. They are recruiting exceptional PhD student with:

- Good training in research (publication and research experience are preferred, but not required);
- Good personality.
Microfabrication experience is preferred but not required. GRE and TOEFL (or IELTS) are required, but the score requirement is flexible depending on your whole package.
